NMG and experimental sound artist Tom Harris are delighted to share an Open Call for sound works, with submissions being open to creatives based in the East Midlands. Deadline to submit is Sunday 28 November 2021.

Tom is looking for ambient, electronic, field recordings, sonic landscapes and works in progress, from Midlands based Artists to play at a Pop up Listening Event at Primary on Saturday 4 December 2021, 10AM – 9.30PM.

Tom wants to create a space for sound artists to test their ideas in a focussed listening environment where sonic playback quality is priority. We are welcoming finished works and unfinished works.

All audio submissions will be played throughout the day on a continuous loop. This is an event inviting the public into Primary for the day, open alongside Bradley CoffeeSmall Food Bakery and Beam, and exhibitions from Carmen Argote and Eleanor Bartlett. An evening of performances will begin at 6.30pm.

All submissions will be included during the day-long event along as they are within the genre of electronic, ambient, drone, noise sound recordings. Upload submissions to dropbox here.

Please include ‘Artist name’ and ‘track name’ in the file. We will project this information in the space. If you have any questions please email t.harris@projects2di0.co.uk
